Home Staging tips for the holiday market

Well that time of the year has arrived, the wonderful joy of shoveling the heavy wet icy snow from your walkways to your driveways. Winter is not all that bad, the holiday family gatherings far out way the negatives that 10 inches of snow can bring. We at All in one Staging & redesign would like to share some helpful tips for those Realtor and FSBO's who still need to hold open houses. We all know that this time of the year can slow all type of markets up, especially the Real Estate market. But there are ways to make sure you don't bring selling your house to a stop. All in one Staging & redesign will show you ways to make sure you make your house stand out, with out Blinging out.

Let me explain, Im sure you love decorating the outside of your house with Santa's, sparkling lights, and a whole bunch of other Christmas cheer. But in the eyes of a potential home buyer, that can be a huge turn off. In these days of being politically correct, the people who don't celebrate Christmas could pass by your house just because of the decorations. So keep it to a minimum when decorating the outside of your house during the holidays. And Please do your self a favor, don't let your agent take pictures of your house with these decorations up.

Another tip about Christmas decor while selling your house is, Less Is More! The same applies to the inside of your house as the outside during the time your house is on the market. Sorry to all those folks who love to decorate like we do at All in one Staging, but you have to remember...your house is now a product once you put that for sale sign up, and these little tips that Stagers use will help sell houses faster in the winter market.

Finally, and I think this could be the most obvious but one of the most important tip in selling your house in the winter is, Shovel your side walks. I know it seems very obvious but you would not believe how many open houses we at All in one Staging & redesign have been to slipping and sliding are way to the door. We offer a shoveling package to our vacant staging clients, so they don't have to worry about the snow when holding a open house, because we would send over a employee to make sure the walkways are clean and salted so the open house visitors will start off on a positive note.

I hope we at All in one Staging & redesign shed some light on how to properly decorate a house for sale during the winter months, and pointed out some of the obvious tips that sometime get over looked, but could be the tip that helps sell your home.

All In One Staging & Redesign Kitchen makeover

Here is an example of adding some color to make room elements POP. Before the cabinets blended into the background, Now just by adding some color, this kitchen was the focal point of the home.
Here you see Sandra MonteMayor our expert Stager of All In One Staging & Redesign lending a hand painting after a client called us for help. This house has been on the market for almost a year. Kim the owner of the home found us on the Internet to help her sell the home. Sandra showed up for a walk through consultation and spent a couple of hours walking the home taking pictures and notes of ways to get her home sold. Well as you can imagine Sandra All In One Stagings expert Stager spent quit a bit of time in the kitchen, explaining ways to bring out some of the homes focal points so potential clients fall in love with the home and have to have it.

We at All in one Staging & Redesign put together a action plan for the home owner to tackle to make her home more attractive. The home owner called her Realtor to take new pictures of the home to put on MLS as she was not even done with the work we put together for her. Well a call came into the office explaining she had one day to make all the changes and upgrades, because her agent was going out of town that weekend. So we quickly put together a team to come over and help the home owner paint the kitchen and do a make over for it, and paint the bathroom as well also making that over on that Saturday & Sunday. Well we pulled it off.

All In One Staging & Redesign has a mission plan that we our bringing customer service back one customer at a time. And do our best to make each and every client happy with are work. And this is just another case of us dropping everything to help one of our clients out.

The final Price for us to do all this work was lower then you would expect (well this home owner is a perfect example). she wrote a great thank you note to us which we put on our website at http://Allinonestaging.com so feel free to stop by and read other satisfied clients letters to us and see how we might be able to help you to.

Thank you,
Regards, Brian Bloom
